| The Station House offers bed and breakfast accommodation with the best of home cooking and hospitality within the converted station building. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities with colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
One of the double bedrooms is set in what once was the old covered yard. The Ticket Office, Porter's Room and Gent's washroom have also been completely refurbished to provide a double en-suite room, with adjoining bedroom which sleeps a further two people. |

| The Old Goods Shed. December 2007
We are at present nearing the completion of the renovation of The Old Goods Shed and this will be available for self-catering accomodation, sleeping six/eight, from Spring 2008. The Goods Shed was originally used to store pit props, grain sacks, newspapers, etc, awaiting transportation to Scarborough, Whitby and the surrounding villages. The renovation has involved putting in a second floor which now has three centrally-heated bedrooms, one twin en-suite, one double and one bunk room plus separate bath/shower room. Downstairs has a large open-plan lounge and fully fitted kitchen including electric fan oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer and dishwasher. There is a cloakroom with WC and basin, also a separate dining/sitting room. The whole of the downstairs has tiled floors with under-floor heating. The lounge also has a free-standing gas fire, two large sofas and TV and DVD facilities. Double doors lead form the back of the lounge to a patio and small garden area with chairs, tables, and a barbecue. There are plentiful parking facilities. All bedding and linen are included. Booking Saturday to Saturday, £550 per week. |
